"Madonna: Material Girl" is a 4-minute music video by the artist in the title for the song in the title. This one is by successful 8music video) director Mary Lambert and this was by far not the only occasion she worked with Madonna. The latter was of course one of the biggest stars back then roughly half the age she is today. But this one we have here does not justify her stardom by any means. I found it extremely forgettable, both the song and the video. There's also not really any known actors in here like in other Madonna videos. I guess Deke Anderson doesn't count. So yeah, this one here is from 1985 when I was alive but not yet one year old, so it had its 30th anniversary already. I cannot go easy on this one. People who criticize most female pop singers today cannot say that this one here is quality music by any means. Madonna has done some great stuff in her career, but this one here certainly doesn't fit the category. Watch 8and listen to) something else.
