Warning: Spoilers
Of all those who may had input to the script and story line NOBODY could have had any knowledge of crypto currencies....the subject of this season. Cryptos are all based on blockchain technology, a fact completely ignored by the producers. Three examples jumped out in the first 20 minutes: 1) an interviewer asks the spokesman of the crypto "how is the public to trust the corporation behind Gencoin?" As all those familiar with the technology know the biggest attraction of cryptocurrencies is that they are TRUSTLESS, the immutable ledger of the blockchain assures this. 2)In a job interview the interviewer (employer?) asks the applicant to consider solutions for scalability. Several technologies to address this issue are readily available and currently employed by newer cryptos (up to 5000 tnx/sec...faster than VISA!) 3) The spokesman in touting the public interest speaks of 'crashing the server" This is really stupid.. anybody should know that crytos are decentralised...the blockchain is docked in anonymous nodes all over the world and is never dependent on any one server(s) As a crypto consultant I could not continue to watch such a botched script.
