This episode starts with a lot of drinking and dancing, friends and mates sitting laughing and talking.
Later that night a woman that was on the island vacationing with her boyfriend of 2 years is found dead an apparent suicide. Sian was her name she was only 19 and her boyfriend much older.
After investigating DI Goodman's police crew find Sian had an affair with another man that was also visiting the island. This couple made out they did not know each other. Goodman is not sure it is a suicide yet. There is also a woman named Perrie who left her husband and newspapers reported her missing but she was alive and well and wanted a different life.
There are beautiful scenes in this episode like many scenes in this series but in this one there is a special wedding. Officer JP Hooper is getting married. The wedding takes place in a church. It is a very happy time for everyone including me.
DI Goodman still talks to much as usual but at the wedding he gets an idea and believes Sian did not kill herself and leaves the wedding to prove who did it.
I can do without the drinking it does not work as entertainment for me, I don't drink. I do like the series though. They are entertaining, funny and full of mystery.
