I've been coming to IMDB for years and just now signed up so I could review this movie.
Lowish budget - yes
Acting - Average to slightly better than average.
Idea of an immortal - Think highlander
Oscar material - Not a chance
Explosions/action/murders - Nil. Or was there one??
Entertaining - yes
Have I seen the first one? - No
Its the sheer fact that afterwards it made me sit there thinking about it that made it worthwhile. Who is this guy? Is he who he says he has been in history? Is he this amazing kind person? Is he something else? The FBI agent threw a big spanner in the works at the end to make you think, 'ah crap now I really don't know' I think a good movie should make you think and ponder. With everything against it, I think it achieved just that.
