ALTERED SPIRITS is another indie horror flick that tries, and fails, to cover big metaphysical concepts on a tiny budget. A quartet of friends find themselves holed up in a remote cabin after some dimension-shifting adventures, but ghosts are attempting to steal their bodies to return to life and they have to fight to protect themselves. This one tries an arty approach in an attempt to look like a proper film but the material is way below what's required. The dialogue lacks sufficient emphasis and the whole thing is quite boring.
