Pointless regurgitation
9 April 2018
Warning: Spoilers
The Red Balloon and Amélie have a lot to answer for in this poor homage to French comedy films. Throw in a vague impression of Marilyn Monroe, actors with accents from all over the world, a French Citron Estate (because it's French), a creepily lit theatre performance, a large painted flat of a colourful theatre, cliche after cliche had my gag reflex failing. I really wish people wouldn't make films like this, pointless regurgitation.
