After the last cutie mark crusaders episode we had this season; my expectations for the next one were pretty damn low. however; marks for effort more then made up surf and/or turf being average by being a clever episode. this episode breaks the typical cutie mark crusaders storyline(the crusaders need to help somepony but are incapiable due to problems of their own but learn a lesson that helps them). while they are helping somepony; they are helping said pony with something that they know all too well. it is a clever story. also; it is funny as hell. from the crusader's attempts to get into the school of friendship to starlight and her "empathy coco", this episode has me rolling on the floor; unable to control myself. overall; it is not only a giant improvement from the last episode of the season and the last cutie mark crusaders episode of the season; but I dare say that it may be my favorite episode of the season(but we are still smack dab in the middle of season 8 so we'll just see).
