Kid version of the Stargate Atlantis - type episodes
21 August 2018
While Stargate may be a fundamentally different series than this one, somehow, this show reminded me of that in principle. Someone gets stranded somewhere and they have to use their wits and alien technology to see them through. The casting was perfect.

The villainess, Parker Posey as Dr. Zachery and her relationship with the boy, Maxwell Jenkins as William Robinson was just phenomenal. The overall chemistry of the cast was perfect and the acting and performance was just smooth. The pacing of the series was just right. It's almost like a long-movie with the last few episodes really being intense.

There is a great mix of races represented. Taylor Russel as Judy Robins also put in a lovely performance. I thought Mina Sundwall as Penny Robinson, as a pre-teen/teen was amazing and she had some sub-plots that really made her shine as a "girl next door" in the family.

So, I'm giving this allot of leeway on the overall cast of the series because to me it is what gives it "soul", and connect with the plight of the characters overall. The C.G.I was also fun and was very immersive to the type of world they were portraying on there.
