When this movie first came out, it introduced the world to Natasha Henstridge, a famous supermodel who became the first sex symbol to portray a bad alien in a major movie. I got this movie for free when i subscribed to Total Movie, which was a short lived DVD magazine, in pan and scan only with 5.1 audio. I saw it on vhs too. Ben Kingsley plays the scientist on a mission to track her down. The success of this movie spawned several sequels, all of which aren't as good as the first one.
