First of all, I am a huge fan of foreign movies and movies that go against the grain, but this was just too weird for me to really say "I love it" or "I hate it"
I thought this would have been a bit like Pan's Labyrinth (one of my favorite movies) with a mix of fantasy involving characters that are loners. It had that, but them really bizarre subplots in it.
SPOILERS I could have done without seeing intersex body organs and the 2 main characters having sex.I also don't know why they had to throw in pedophilia which obviously already is disturbing (it's subtle in the movie, but still disturbing). I have not read the story that this is based on, but I did read that this is not in the story whatsoever. I'll say this, I figured in the end she would have a baby of her own, but didn't think Vore was going to be the worst bad guy in the movie.
In any case, I'm glad I saw it because it looked interesting and I guess was...
