Certain things seem to be in the way of growing up, of coming of age. Being on the doorway to adulthood, but either being afraid of taking that step or not having the courage to open the door. Question of why - as in don't you like what you see on the other side or can't you see what is there and you're afraid of even exploring? - is important.

Danny McBride is that "third wheel" and he shows off that he can be more than just funny. So the acting is really good, the story has gravitas and the character moments are there.
