This movie is the classic example of how NOT to adapt a story. With elements of Monty Python and Dad's Army, it fails to deliver any of the charm or comedic timing of either. Instead you are left with an absolutely terrifying assault to the brain. Why are there Nazis? Why are there crematoriums? Shock value needs to have a point. It needs a purpose. In this film it's simply gratuitous. It's a disgusting insult to film, and a bigger insult to the memory of the Holocaust.
