This show has everything you could ever want out of a crime thriller while combining both brilliant character creation and story telling. So far, this season has contained all the elements that made True Detective season 1 the master piece it was. This season comes back to the roots of what made the show and first season great, while continuinf to be unlike any other show on television. Each episode is carefully telling a story and painting a picture that almost requires you to actively take part in resolving the mystery yourself in order to fully appreciate the story and it's characters. Since the beginning, this show has been one of my all time favorites and just hope this is what we can continue to expect the rest of this season and going forward after clearly getting away from that in Season 2. Very excited about watching this season play out!
