Main chararacter is kidnapped alone but before he passes out, he presses the button of the walkie talkie(which is a thing through the whole movie)and his three friends listen whats going on. So they all get to the fat kid's car and follow the murderer. the rest of the film goes as it was but noone dies just threatened that he will return someday to kill them.
And there you have your sequel "summer of 94".
