I like this series but it has changed a lot..Now Ruth who is related to the Commissioner is a cop but acts loud and stupid and tries to get all the attention. In this episode. Ciss who is sister of the millionaire & Josephine who is a housekeeper for the millionaire are lesbians in this episode kiss at the end. They call themselves partners. This series is going downhill.
The writers make Christians look bad. They show Voodoo celebrations & promote Saint Marie as an island full of Christians. You cannot be both. They have Christian marriage and funeral services. JP was married and you don't hear about his wife anymore or that he is married. They give Christians a bad name. The healer in another episode is gay, pretends he is married, prays before believers & lays hands on people. You cannot be a homosexual and be a Christian Pastor, Rev or anything else.
This episode is about a millionaire getting killed who has no respect for his family or workers. His will is brought up and things about his new wife.
It shows the cops letting things pass that are illegal like Ruth having a police record and people betting on crab races which is illegal. I hope it goes back to honorable police.
The best actors are Florence, Catherine who is kind hearted and JP as truthful, smart, honest and loving characters. Christians and millionaires are not perfect but they should not be presented as negative people in episodes. The writers & producers promote heathen celebrations and constant drinking as a good thing & with women in low cut clothes. I wish they would stick to the mystery of solving crimes
