It's sort of what Family Guy would become in time but many years earlier.
It is BRUTAL!!! It is to modern family Guy how modern Family Guy is to the Simpsons. It is hard hitting for its own sake.
I won't say it's postmodern the way FG and Big Mouth is, it's simply very intertextual but it's so much fun. It pulls no punches, it references and parodies everything and hits you with stuff you didn't realise you found funny.
It annoys me the Simpsons won't be put out of its misery but this only had 3 seasons.
