Tante Pose (1940)
10/10

This film is a classic for every norwegian that has lived some decades, and have sat glued to the tv screen at christmas, 17th of may( national day) and easter, as it is on e of the finest oldies goldies black and white comedy productions made in ancient norwegian moviemaking.

its about aunty pose(''baggy''), an grey old virgin that thinks laughter is a devils sin and the youuths flirting to be like swearing in church. its christmas and the whole grand family and aunty pose getogether for the holidays. in awe of the flirtatious demeanors, not only by the youngsters, makes the old lass furious, and she locks herself in her bed chambers, threatening everyone that she shall never come out, not even for the food, and they shall all have the burden of her death when she dies....

its an old movie, with hardcore norwegian dialects and humour, but could be enjoyed by everybody, and if you dont understand the nordic way of speaking, its even good as an silent movie. the grumpy old man recommends.
