Not the best of the monster films from A & C, but a fun time. As always, Karloff is a treat to watch, and the immature panic attacks from Lou will leave one in stitches. The only worrying thing about this film, though, is the budget. Instead of the beautiful make-up jobs we've seen on Karloff in the past, here we get a rubber mask that looks really fake and doesn't even move his mouth. Don't expect the best work from the kids, and you can enjoy this ghoulish break.
