Foyle has a strange case to investigate, a bomb damaged building reveals a murdered man, stabbed in the chest, and has to look after his son when he gets dragged into something.
Julian Ovenden was always great when he appeared as Foyle's son Andrew, I loved how awkward Sam was around him.
Two of Endeavour's finest appear, Anton Lesser and Roger Allam, both are terrific, both speak wonderfully. It was fitting I watched this tonight, Sam's father, actor Stephen Moore sadly passed away a few days ago, an excellent, much missed actor.
Incredibly well directed and well made, it looks amazing, the shots of the spitfire in particular looked terrific.
A very good episode. 8/10
