By old-fashioned I don't mean it's a completely family friendly movie. It's definitely not. But it's the kind of story they made a lot in "the good old days." Paul Hogan plays a thief who dies and is sent back to Earth as an angel looking for redemption. It's all handled lightly and the movie is quite fun despite some darker parts. It's the kind of movie where a guy can invent stuff that does almost magical things yet he doesn't immediately patent it and make a fortune. Again, old-fashioned. Paul Hogan is great and keeps the movie afloat even if the script isn't impressive. Linda Kozlowski is easy on the eyes, even dressed like a nerd here, but she doesn't get much to work with. Give it a look. I doubt you'll hate it unless you read the plot description and were immediately filled with rage. If that's the case get some therapy please.
