Beautiful Film
29 May 2020
This piece of work is a nice change from the same old stuff. It's artistic (in a greatly minimalistic way) & thought provoking. If you like action & drama, you might want to pass on it. I'm not sure what the overly sensitive guy is whining about, but it is in no way, shape, or form about slavery or the Civil War. People of all colors and cultures love the south. I suppose if this was about a Yankee state, people would be giving 5 stars all day long.

This film reminds us to focus on our surroundings and appreciate each other more; to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. If every community did that, we wouldn't be on the slippery slope that we're currently on. We need to preserve the beauty of our environment and citizens, not focus on things happening across the country or on social media.

General Orders No. 9 is a big picture project, not a thesis paper. The creators offer what they want to convey & allow the viewer to think while viewing scenes of American heritage & landscapes. I've moved into & out of big cities/rural areas my entire life and I notice very real differences, so this piece speaks to me. I think it's great and will be looking for more films like this.
