Everyday ITV in the UK repeat The Professionals and Minder and The Sweeney. I expect The Professionals is less well regarded than the other 2 programmes. If you don't know the drama concerns a fictional anti terrorist unit based in London. I am old enough to have watched The Professionals when it was first on. It has grown on me over the years,there are some good ,well researched ,plots behind the crash bang action scenes. It is much more an action based series than Special Branch but I feel that that series must have influenced the creation of The Professionals. Some of the episodes are thinly plotted it is true but most are well written and well filmed on location. I find the episodes of The Professionals episodes bear repeated viewing more than Sweeney episodes.
