Decent again. The pacing is still very slow, and I think this is probably the last episode they're allowed to get away with that. I think next episode the pace will need to pick up a bit. The detectives are still in the establishing leads phase but it looks like they might have found themselves at least one. Of course with the future timelines, we already know what the 79 cops won't achieve. I'm definitely intrigued by the present day Wayne's experiences with his illness and how it's affecting him, as well as the show's return to its fascination with time and parallel universes. It seems like these timelines could all possibly be linked in some way. I'm not saying the show will go down a sci-fi route but it definitely does like its philosophical ponderings. So far this season has been decent but only decent, I do hope it starts picking up because the potential is definitely there. Btw Mahershala Ali has been really really good in this role
