As a child, Oscar (Michael Pitt) kills a man who molested his daughter. He runs to the big city where he meets Sway (Mark Boone Junior) who is a Fagan type with a group of child pickpockets. The movie moves to 15 years later. Oscar has replaced Sway and the girl he helped is looking for him.
