I've loved the Moomins for over 60 years and was greatly looking forward to this film. Unfortunately it did nothing for me. It just didn't register at all, unlike the cartoons and TV series I remember from years ago.
If I were reviewing it from a child's point of view, I would probably give it a much higher mark. I would think many children would enjoy it.
So although it grew on me a little during my viewing, it had none of the magic I'd hoped for.
