Victoria Wood's 2009 Christmas outing would sadly be her last before her death.
When it's good, it's very good - with the 'Apprentice' sketch being my personal favourite, followed by the Freda and Barry musical finish.
Like all sketch shows though it's hit and miss, and sadly here the big recurring items (The Cranford spoof and The Mid Life Olympics) do fall a bit flat.
Focus on the good though, because they're a testament to a much missed British Comedy icon.
