. . . Quentin T., Peter B. or Martin S., SOME OF THE BEST: TWENTY-FIVE YEARS OF MOTION PICTURE LEADERSHIP will enable you to stump them at cocktail parties with little-known facts. For instance, why not ask them which film studio felt that Alf Kjellin and Leon Ames were bigger film stars than Jimmy Stewart and Cary Grant? (Hint: It's the same outfit that ballyhooed Spring Byington more than Greta Garbo.) Would any other company have the audacity to plug the pairing of Marie Dressler and Wallace Beery over Ginger Rodgers and Fred Astaire? Is Red Skelton superior to Gregory Peck in anybody else's book? The 16-plus overlooked names appearing on-screen during this 42-minute promo far outshine the star power of most fallen luminaries actually making the invitation list. Final hint: the film studio in question has the same initials as Many Greedy Mobsters.
