Everything about this very dialogue-heavy movie is just way to hectic. The chemistry between the leads is ok, providing for some good emotional scenes that sound like real life exchanges between people in love.
There was so much going on in the story, even though the pace is slow compared to other family dramas that hop along with alacrity - from first kiss to resolution of the conflicts. This story gives the viewer a lot to think about - and wonder who will say what, or do what. We know it will be a happy ending. Getting there is just weird at times.
