Do not underestimate this show like I did. Its amazing to see Yona go from a naive, innocent, sheltered girl to a courageous and fearless soul for the sake of her friends. After losing everything and having a taste of the bitter reality of the situation in the Kingdom, Yona finds meaning in the turn of events. From being protected, to proactive. Willing to learn and change to protect her friends and her Kingdom.
At first I thought it would be a cute, bubbly show. By the end of episode 1, the plot made a full turn and I enjoyed every minute of it. The soundtrack was soooo BEAUTIFUL !!! Also so much detail in the story (continues in the manga). A fantasy, adventure, with a handful of comic moments, sided with lots of feels. Love the relationship between Hak and Yona, and how they cherish other.
Truly, this story is so dear to my heart. I read the manga and was thrilled to find they made an anime of it, they might even make season 2 (hopefully😠even though I know whats gonna happen lol). Im looking forward to it! Please!!!
