It tries to be a film noir - it is not. Jazz music alone doesn't do the trick. It also tries to be 'Sin City' by Robert Rodriguez. Oh my! It is really, really bad.
Thomas Jane was never an A-lister - for which I am really sorry, I really like the guy -, but with this nonsense of a movie surely cemented him in the lower echelons of the Hollywood ladder. He has never come out of that. My favorite movie is The Mist (2007) with him. Lest not to forget, this is an astoundingly bad account. Trash.
