OK, I'm going to be the party-pooper here on reviews. I don't give bad reviews for the actors, nor even the presentation of the movie...it's more that, I remember seeing this when it first came out which would make me in like 9th grade...and it depressed me for ever even wanting to believe in romance. LOL I know. Odd reaction. I just thought...like "Ghost" movie...or even "Castaway"...how utterly sad to have "missed" the love of your life. Especially when it's presented that you have just one great love. That said..........I don't think our lives are that "patterned" but at that age it shook me that happenstance could occur and alter lives so greatly for "the worse"(sadness, unfulfilled potential). I've moved passed my teen years...happily married for 40 years to the same guy...but wow! I remember how sad this movie made me instead of being hopeful like young people should be. Just saying............................
