In this episode, Erika wants everything to be perfect and going her way. Only to realize that things that were supposed to happen are going to go the same way whether she likes it or not.
And, that it's better to take help rather freak out and take charge of everything else by oneself. One of the things I found funny in this episode is that she says,"I am not one of those crazy bosses who takes control of everything and dismisses everyone's opinions" and proceeds to do just that. It shows that while she has self-awareness, she can also be blind to her own mistakes which cleverly Dr Tom puts at the end of how people who play the game are blind to things outside of it.
She even tries to go back in the past and speed things up than they are supposed to be which ironically makes the people around her happy since they get what they want but not her. "You cannot make people's decisions for them.", as Dr. Tom rightly puts it at the end of episode.
