So I got hooked on this after the first episode, starting loosing interest in the second and third episode. I stuck with it and it did pick up after episode 5 but when looked at in its entirety I must say fair overall. Had some good points, had some good acting, had some laughable points and some terrible acting.
I don't think the actor playing Adam was horrible, he just didn't have much to work with. Same for Fia who I thought had an expressive, exotic look. I see potential.
Detective Costello was good - but why was she always shown eating? The grandmother / senator was a mosey body and Charlie was reminiscent of his role in the wire. Cranston was good as was the prosecuting attorney.
The trouble I think was perhaps it was too long, but I really think the trouble was with the editing. I don't want to give away any spoilers but the video in episode 10 they show and what is a huge part of the defense is not where or how that act took place. How did that gets past anyone?
Don't waste 10 hours of your life on this. Read a book instead.
