A feature film may seem like an unlikely vehicle for Elvira, the late night horror show hostess. It does not take long, however, for this disarming comedy to win you over. In the same vein as Peewee Herman, Cassandra Peterson's outrageous alter-ego travels to Salem, Massachusetts to collect an inheritance. Her confrontations with the straight-laced residents are uproarious and surreal.
