I remember watching George Washington back in grade 9 and just recently watched the mini series again. George Washington aged well. George Washington series went over the times, memories, and event of George as a Colonialist to General of the revolutionary army. The acting, sets, casting and script was good. A bit slow of a begging, but one got a feeling for the times. There is the personalities, trickery, snobbery, politics, tarators, opportunist and people of character in George's life. The events and time line is accurate. There is family, love interest, family tragedy, and what George personally wanted to do. George wanted to be a farmer, and go on his way. Harshly, history needed George who endured hardships from the British, and Congress as the War for Independents was ugly and bloody as the Birth of a Nation was forged. Memorable series, which worth a second watch. 8 stars.
