There are some movie adaptions of Hamlet around that I really like. This golden oldie from 1948 is still a watchable piece that is flavored by some good shot of nostalgia. Laurence Olivier was of course a fine actor, and Shakespeare's story is one of those stories or almost legends that will never die: not essential but still a good choice for the adept of good old movie times.
