David Perry made a number of very interesting movies over the years, and when his name came up recently I thought I'd see which ones I'd missed. I saw that this movie didn't have a lot of fans, but I love comedy mysteries and that's more-or-less what this is, so I had to watch it.
Only it's not really funny. The characters aren't really interesting. The lead's interest in the case is never quite persuasive. And after a half hour I just gave up on it.
Some people seem to like this and it has occasional amusing moments and a pretty good cast but it's not worth watching.
