Commitment (2013)

Good fight scenes but .....

Warning: Spoilers
The plot started out as intriguing. It originates from a power struggle between two rival North Korean spy rings. It would be good if the movie were to explore and explain why the two spy rings that serve the same master would kill each other off.

The fight scenes were good. But the most of the characters were two-dimensional and not well-developed.

Some of the decisions of the main character did not make sense. He tool up the spy mission to South Korea to save his sister who is held captive in North Korea. He befriended a South Korean girl who became more than just a friend. So, when his sister was brought to South Korea and safe with the South Korean authorities, why did he continue with his mission so that he can return to North Korea?

The director or script writer seem determined not to have a happy ending for this movie, even when there are ample opportunities to do so.
