Harmon as Bundy
30 August 2021
I first saw this in 1986 and after 35 years it seems dated. Last night I watched No Man of God and it is far superior to this film. Luke Kirby is the definitive Ted. Too much of the case is skipped over in a three hour and seven minute production. Harmon is fine but the blaring soundtrack is distracting as hell. Most of the names were changed with the exception of Denise Naslund, which is silly since two of the books from 1980 have the real names with photos. Carol Ann Boone had a daughter with him and even her name is changed. His girlfriend, Liz Kendall(Liz Kleopfer) wrote a book, The Phantom Prince, and recently did a 4 hour documentary. For some reason the director focused on Ted's black shoes as he stalks his victims. It has the look of a cheesy Lifetime movie.
