It seems that most of the low reviews here are from the book fans. I don't read such books, but I watch a lot of Sci-fi. And I found this to be a good episode.
I actually liked the time jumps it gave the series more depth. What was weird is the part of brother dusk ascension. It supposed to be 19 years after the bombing. But the young boy(that was 6-8) now looks exactly like brother day looked 19 years ago. And Brother day now looks the same as brother dusk looked 19 years ago. This makes no sense.
Another thing is the continuity with episode 2 ending. There is no explanation as to what happened there and why. But I think they are saving it for later. Overall good episode although slow at times.
