Jeffrey King the titular rocket man battles against the elusive and evil Dr. Vulcan who seeks to obtain the weapons created by Professor Millard. He is assisted by ace reporter Glenda Thomas . A decent serial with twelve chapters of the usual ingredients; fights, crashes and mystery. Tristram Coffin as King is bland in the role of the hero and Dr. Vulcan mainly appears as a shadow through most of the episodes which was to conceal his identity obviously but it did make for a boring villain. As Glenda Thomas the under used Mae Clarke is fine as usual. The best parts are the flying sequences staged by the talented Lydecker brothers. Long before 'Superman ' in the 1970's you'll believe a man can fly.
