Before Hard Boiled, before The Killer - there was Heroes Shed No Tears.
Heroes Shed No Tears (International Title , which sounds so cool !) Is John Woos First "Real " Action Film. This Movie starts with a prolog about mercenaries and with a real good Action scene (Including a flamethrower scene ! ). Even when there are no Slo-mo Action Scenes like in Hard Boiled or A Better Tomorrow, the Action scenes in Heroes shed no tears are really Intense, Violent and gory. Even when this movie is less emotional like The Killer, there are also Woo typically themes like Honor and Friendship, and even when the lead actor is no chow yun fat his performance was decent. In Summary I Recommend "Heroes Shed No Tears" to all Action Fans, this Movie deserves way more credit.
