The animation quality looks like something a first year computer animation student would make. More than that the writing is awful. Garfield is irredeemably an ass. Not in a funny way, but in a "...really?" Sort of way.
One episode shows Odie running away to a house across the street because Garfield made him think he was going to be taken by the police for some reason. Odie then plays with the kid all day. The kid asks his mom if he can keep him. The mother says he deserves it because he did good on his science project... what? What kind of garbage writing is that? The house is literally across the street. Odie would be visible to them daily. The suspension of disbelief a person has to have to enjoy this show is so high that even kids point out how stupid this is.
In short, as someone who has read all of the comic strips and watched all the episodes of Garfield and friends, this ain't it.
