This is the kind of movie that keeps you entertained for the whole one and a half hour, and after that you immediately forget about it. Nothing wrong with that, as long as you don't expect something deep or life-changing. And as long as you can overlook a rather unrealistic and farfetched premise. If so, you get an action-filled and fast-paced horror-thriller, with lots of hefty and well choreographed violence. In the last half hour things took a less interesting turn, the story became even more farfetched, on the brink of ridiculous, and in the end it even turned into melodrama. Stephen Lang does a great and convincing job as the relentless tawny ex-marine, and young Madelyn Grace as his besieged ward is a real promise for the future.
