First thing first. I don't hate the movie. Such movies should be out there. Only thing, it is not my kind of movie.
It is easy-watching film about family relationships. And it is OK. I prefer my drama being thrillers or tearjerkers. Nothing like that here. Even though we see a death scene it doesn't make you emphasize with those characters. Family drama is also mid tier.
Romantic story is so cliché I've seen it more than I can count.
