It is worth it, isn't it?

'Marcel The Shell With Shoes On, Two (2011)' is pretty much more of the same. That doesn't mean it's bad, though. It's a wholesome, calming and ever-so-slightly repetitive stop-motion/ live-action hybrid in which a small shell (with shoes on) named Marcel talks to an off-screen interviewer about his everyday life. Once again, its moments of melancholy and wisdom stand out the most, though the more humorous segments also work well. The best part about the piece is Marcel's heart-warming final musing: "Guess why I smile a lot? Uh, because it's worth it." 6/10.
