Usually when a story is light on plot it's because it's meant to be more driven by the development of the characters, but this seems light on both. Not much happens, and they just seem like average teenagers making their way through a very normal, teenage, suburban society. This was a good choice of film for Jaeden Martel to make, as it gave him a chance to show he could be more than just an awkward preteen.
