Really enjoyed it.

Rishi Kapoor's work was way before my time but I sure grew up all the elders talking about him and his films, so shoutout to him for being a certain part of my parents' generation and their lives. Knowing that he passed away halfway through filming this movie made even a random movie watcher like me feel a certain way, I can only imagine what he and the film meant to the elders.

This is a light-hearted, feel-good movie that you should totally watch just because! But watch it even more so for Rishi Kapoor and the nostalgia of either watching his content, or of the elders talking about watching his content. The movie is hilarious, talks about 'life after retirement' that isn't spoken about much, it's got GOOD acting, the story is relatable regardless of what age bracket you fall into, and you'll see why.

Speaking of acting - from a film-making standpoint, I can't imagine the challenges the makers face when the lead passes away halfway through. What options do you consider without delaying it, w/o increasing the budget by a whole lot? Or, do you abandon it and pay people for their work and lose your money, or worse, does nobody get paid if the film doesn't release?

Paresh Rawal steps in, surprisingly, the movie isn't reshot but they make two actors play the same role in the same movie!? That's a first for me. And it almost doesn't feel like they were two people unless you specifically look for the change. *slow claps* Getting back, watch it. It's good and < 2hrs. Make your elders watch it if they were a Rishi Kapoor fan (or not).
