Watchable mystery series
16 April 2022
The investigations of Sister Boniface of St Vincent's Convent - nun, moped rider, wine maker and part-time forensic scientist - is a lighthearted affair, watchable with a likeable protagonist, though the screen time is taken up by two detectives and a roving journalist. Of course, the detective nun comes up trump with the answer to the mystery. There's the usual diversity casting, and though it's not as sharp as Father Brown, it's a pleasant viewing. It's great fun.
