When I heard that a third movie was being released in the ultimate series called Ultimate Legacy I expected it to be based on the third book in the series just like the first 2 movies were actually based on the first 2 books Ultimate Gift and Ultimate Life. Boy was that a huge disappointment. Instead The third and final movie was titled after the third book in the series but was not about the third book at all. Instead The final movie was actually based on the fourth and final book in the series which is titled Gift of a Legacy. I was expecting to see a movie about Jason and more lessons he had to learn about money, friends, and traveling since receiving his inheratence from Red. Instead I was watching a movie about the last book called Gift of a Legacy. The movie Ultimate Legacy should have actually been titled Gift of a Legacy after the book that the movie's storyline is all about. It turns out that a movie was never made about the third book and there most likely never will be especially since they gave that title to the movie based on the fourth and final book. So here's a warning to others. If you choose to watch this movie and have already read all the books in the series do not expect, like I did to see another movie about Jason learning more life lessons. Instead expect to see a movie about a different young man having to learn his own life lessons by having to complete his own gifts as set forth in her will in order to be able to claim his own inheratence after his grandmother was inspired by how Red had passed his inheratence on in his will only once all the gifts of lessons in life had been completed and learned. Jason is one of the people there to help guide the grandson as he learns the lessons in life chosen by his dearly departed rich grandmother.
